Got a package from Colonial Tonewoods today. When Steve says quality tonewoods and personal service, he's not blowing smoke! I sent Steve a scrap of binding material that I needed to have matched, and he nailed it! Perfect match, which will go on a guitar for my wife. Also, I think he sanded his entire inventory of headplates to pick out two that a picky customer should just love. (Not my wife--she's not picky. I'm proof....) Anyway, this is service above and beyond the call of duty. (What... are you angling for repeat customers? Well, you've got one here.) Steve, many thanks! Great job--and it is truly appreciated. I'm starting to believe that Steve is the guy behind the sofa!  i mean the sofa episode , not behind your sofa,,, well ya know what i mean!

Steve's a first class bloke all right! My very first is Curly Cherry wood from Steve... Great service. Superb inventory... The irony is not lost on me that I lost my 'cherry' to cherrywood!
I didn't even know about this forum back then! Ah... those pre-OLF days... |

Howdy- I got my first order from Steve about a month ago and he went way past the call of duty for me. I received 4 carpathian tops that are just the best. I told him the types of physical and visual characteristics I liked and once I opened the package I felt like I had picked out these myself. Steve's the man. Thanks again. |
